Job Description
The Department of Information Resources' Shared Technology Services (STS) Technology department is seeking a Program Management Spec III (STS Technical Program Manager) to support the Vendor Management Office. The individual in this role will perform highly complex program management specialist work, including reviewing and approving vendor Service Management Manual technical documents, providing technical consultation to STS Vendor Managers and Project Engineering staff, and evaluating vendor deliverable submissions.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, or other IT related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry.
  • Experience managing public and private cloud infrastructure solutions and/or services.
  • Experience with ITIL process, technology standards, and policy development.
  • Experience advising customers on technical issues.
  • Knowledge of program management theories and practices; systems and procedures used to evaluate program performance; and local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the administration of the program.
  • Ability to think critically; to recognize and anticipate a problem (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement the best solution in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work across a diverse group of stakeholders and drive alignment/consensus with stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
