Job Description
The Program Manager will oversee the strategic objectives and assist with building infrastructure for the enterprise-wide Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. The position involves managing multiple operational functions, leading problem-solving and decision-making activities, and developing program strategy.

Requirements

  • Develop program strategy
  • Work with Education and Administrative leadership to develop strategic plans and budgets
  • Manage partnerships with affiliated national/international consortium or program members
  • Provide consultative expertise regarding policy and/or accreditation questions
  • Continually evaluate work unit processes and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Participate in AMA grant renewal processes
  • Facilitate department meetings and maintain active role on administrative and executive committees
  • Act as a mentor for supervisors and staff
  • Initiate and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Direct and control the activities of large/mega/major/complex/business critical programs
  • Accountable for the achievement of program goals, objectives, budget, and timelines
  • Develop program strategy, program planning, implementation, and program metrics
  • Ensure high quality and minimum program costs by implementing and maintaining a quality management program
  • Decisions would affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of Mayo or the college
