Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Program Manager for The Way Out Center. The Program Manager will be responsible for administrative, program, and personnel functions, as well as day-to-day operations of The Way Out Center. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and experience supervising staff and working with the homeless population.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in social work, psychology, or other related field
  • Center management experience could be considered in lieu of degree
  • Experience supervising staff and volunteers
  • Experience working with the homeless population
  • Knowledge of social services, local resources, and referrals
  • General computer and keyboarding skills
  • Microsoft Suite and recordkeeping systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • De-escalation training
  • Valid State Driver License
  • Peer Support Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with CMIS/HMIS software
  • Current WA State Food Handler's Card, Bloodborne Pathogen and CPR/First Aid Certification
