Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Program Manager for The Way Out Center. The Program Manager will be responsible for administrative, program, and personnel functions, as well as day-to-day operations of The Way Out Center. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and experience supervising staff and working with the homeless population.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in social work, psychology, or other related field
Center management experience could be considered in lieu of degree
Experience supervising staff and volunteers
Experience working with the homeless population
Knowledge of social services, local resources, and referrals
General computer and keyboarding skills
Microsoft Suite and recordkeeping systems
Effective verbal and written communication
De-escalation training
Valid State Driver License
Peer Support Certification preferred
Proficiency with CMIS/HMIS software
Current WA State Food Handler's Card, Bloodborne Pathogen and CPR/First Aid Certification
