Role OverviewThe Program Manager 3 will be responsible for managing a subset of programs within the F-35 Fleet Readiness & Sustainment Operating Unit through all phases of program life cycle; proposal development, negotiation, startup, execution, and completion.
What You Will Do
Primary responsibilities include managing profit and loss, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, leading cross-functional teams, managing supplier performance, measuring and reporting program performance, and proactively managing risk and opportunity.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions, and experience on the F-35 program, supporting DoD sustainment programs or contracts, and interfacing with external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience
- Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience
- Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Experience on the F-35 program
- Experience supporting DoD sustainment programs or contracts
- Experience interfacing with external customers
