Role Overview

The Program Manager- Contract Processing and Grant will work under the supervision of the Deputy Director, with latitude for independent action and decision making. The role involves reviewing, approving, and processing discretionary contracts, ensuring accuracy and proper processing of contracts to oversight departments. The selected candidate will support the Discretionary Grant process by providing technical assistance to providers and meeting deadlines on time.

What You Will Do

The Program Manager- Contract Processing and Grant will be responsible for reviewing and approving desk reviews and/or site visits, preparing and inputting findings on the DYCD database, and providing a weekly update report to the Director of the unit. The role also involves providing technical assistance to program directors, staff, and contractors, answering questions, explaining procedures, and requirements on all issues related to contract documents.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities in an area related to the duties described above
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community-centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above
  • At least one year of experience as described in '1' above
