Role OverviewThe Program Manager II will manage the Systems Pharmacology AI Research Center (SPARC) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). They will be responsible for administratively managing a large or complex University program or multiple programs, providing input in the development of program plans and objectives, and supervising small staffs. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader with a proven track record of creating and maintaining strong relationships using effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities include managing major collaborations, monitoring and overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, project administration and management, collaborating with department staff, directing grant applications, and preparing and submitting reports.
