Role OverviewThe Program Security Specialist L2 (SCAR) will handle personnel security in support of a US Space Force customer, providing 'day-to-day' PERSEC services for Special Access Program (SAP) activities. This includes conducting verifications via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), and other databases for personnel security clearances/access levels; as well as providing security education, training, and advice for Civil Service, military, and contractor personnel.

This includes conducting verifications via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), and other databases for personnel security clearances/access levels; as well as providing security education, training, and advice for Civil Service, military, and contractor personnel.

Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility
- 5+ years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) or equivalent federal service work
- 2+ years experience in SCI and/or SAP environment
- May be required to consent to and successfully complete a government counterintelligence scope polygraph
- Proficient in use of DOD and Special Access Program systems of record DISS, JADE, & other applicable databases
