Job Description
The Program Specialist 1 - Helicopter Program Manager position is responsible for supervising the staff and activities of the Southwestern Land Office's aviation operations and supporting statewide operational and logistical assignments. The position oversees helicopter and helibase air operations, including helicopter manager and fuel tender functions.

Requirements

  • Supervise the staff and activities of CLO aviation operations and support statewide operational and logistical assignments
  • Perform or oversee helicopter and helibase operations support, including helicopter manager, aerial observer, and fuel tender functions
  • Maintain proficiency in helicopter and helibase operations support functions
  • Ensure adequate operational support for aviation operations
  • Supervise two Helicopter Managers, a Lead Helicopter Crew Member, and six additional seasonal staff as needed for mission support
