Role Overview

The Program Specialist III performs complex consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Supports Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) operations within the Unemployment Insurance Data Analysis department.

What You Will Do

Prepare BAM case files on a weekly basis, perform data entry for BAM case results into a federal database, generate correspondence, create mail merges, and mail letters from the TWC Main Office.

Experience using the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Mainframe and knowledge of Unemployment Insurance rules, experience with Microsoft Excel, and one year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.

Requirements

  • One year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
  • Experience using the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Mainframe and knowledge of Unemployment Insurance rules
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
