Role Overview

The Program Specialist III performs complex consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position is located at the TWC main office in the FDCM/UI Data Analysis department.

What You Will Do

Support Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) operations, prepare BAM case files, generate correspondence, create mail merges, perform data entry, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience using the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Mainframe and knowledge of Unemployment Insurance rules, experience with Microsoft Excel, and a Family Friendly Certified Workplace.

Requirements

  • One year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
  • Six months of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Program Specialist II or Program Supervisor II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
