Job Description
Central City Concern is seeking a Program Supervisor III to oversee the Karibu Culturally-Specific Stabilization program, which provides comprehensive services to African American / Black men seeking to stabilize in the early stages of their recovery. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Supervise Peer Support Specialist, and Assistant Case Management Staff.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily operations of staff, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Plan and facilitate regular staff & partner meetings.
  • Maintain effective communication with direct reports, supervisor, tenants and property management staff.
  • Oversee appropriate management and maintenance of case management system.
  • Monitor building occupancy and vacancy of beds in order to ensure occupancy is at an optimal level.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new program policies and procedures and processes as needed.
  • Provide training, assistance and guidance to staff who are assisting clients in working toward the goals of recovery, healthcare connections, income enhancement, obtaining and maintaining permanent housing, and developing self-sufficiency.
  • Aid and guide staff who are assisting individuals in completing needs assessments and developing goal driven plans.
  • Take a collaborative and hands-on approach with team members when difficult client related issues need resolution.
  • Oversee and facilitate events as needed.
  • Ensure program forms reflecting the current needs of the program are in place.
  • Ensure accurate ongoing progress notes are in place.
  • Attend clinical staff meetings and case conferences in order to help initiate aftercare plans for clients.
  • Ensure proper coordination between Karibu Supportive Housing Staff and BHS and SUDs programs.
  • Supervise and monitor all administrative responsibilities of staff in the Karibu program.
  • Work as a team member with the CCC staff.
  • Develop working relationships with alcohol & drug corrections treatment providers, mental health providers and other outside resources for Karibu clients.
  • Monitor client utilization of assigned space.
  • Provide reports and other paperwork as required.
  • Participate in compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
  • Be available by cell phone 24/7 for all emergencies.
  • Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.
  • Gather, edit, and refine program boilerplates and impact data.
  • Help to keep files organized and updated.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of the role.
