Role Overview

The Programmer II will write production CNC programs, collaborate with engineers, and work with the manufacturing team to develop efficient CNC programs. They will be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and promptness of all work, and will troubleshoot manufacturing problems and identify/improve manufacturing methods/processes as required.

What You Will Do

The Programmer II will write production CNC programs, analyze blueprints, and work with engineers to make improvements. They will also be responsible for CNC program maintenance & updates, troubleshooting, and developing set-up documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of machining experience using CNC mills
  • 2-3 years programming experience using CAM software
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems
  • Solid understanding of machine processes and cutting tools
  • Proficiency in CAM software, Microsoft Office Suite
