Job Description
The Auditor of State's office is responsible for auditing all public offices in Ohio. The Local Government Services Division provides financial services to local governments, and the Project Accountant role assists in this effort by providing financial services, including forecasting, reconstruction of financial records, and financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university (Accounting preferred)
  • OR successful completion of at least 16 semester hours or equivalent in accounting or related field from an accredited college, university, trade, technical or vocational school beyond high school level
  • OR possess at least three years’ experience in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel to audit site work locations
