Job Description
Project Accountant 1 assists higher level LGS employees in providing financial services to local governments in Ohio, including forecasting, reconstruction of financial records, and financial analysis. The position involves gathering financial information, preparing work papers, and applying assigned procedures and techniques. The candidate will also review completed work with higher level LGS employees and assist in the preparation of local government services reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university (Accounting preferred)
  • OR successful completion of at least 16 semester hours or equivalent in accounting or related field from an accredited college, university, trade, technical or vocational school beyond high school level
  • OR possess at least three years' experience in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel to Audit Site Work Locations
