Project Accountant II

The Project Accountant II supports ITEX's ICON construction division, providing accounting support directly to Project Managers on active construction projects. This role oversees all accounting processes for assigned projects, keeping them on budget, monitoring job costs against approved contract values, and resolving sub-contractor issues as they arise.

What You Will Do

Process invoices and payments for assigned construction projects, process owner and sub-contractor pay applications and change orders, process bank draws in coordination with project timelines, and perform project budget analysis, cost variance analysis, and re-forecasting as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of construction accounting support experience required
• Working knowledge of AIA billing formats, retainage, lien waivers, and change order processing
• Familiarity with job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting concepts
• Experience with Yardi, AIA software, Sage, and Procore preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient 10-key data entry
