Job Description
The Project Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and timely job cost and inventory to support the financial statements. Key responsibilities include taking ownership of job setup and maintenance, analyzing project-related expenses, capturing and classifying cost data, and preparing reports and graphs to support project and financial decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable, cost accounting, payroll, and inventory
  • Experience working with accounting and financial reporting systems (COINS, UltiPro, Adaptive Insights)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools
