Role Overview

Project Architect is the key point person on a team working under the direction of the Project Manager to deliver a project. The Project Lead will have strong design and technical abilities and professional experience. Performs in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the design process, including programming, preparation of design and Construction Documents.

What You Will Do

Responsible for all technical and design aspects of projects including investigation, evaluation, and development of design solutions. Project Lead is the person in charge of the day-to-day responsibilities of a project, responsible for design, coordination with consultants, internal and external team members, and organization of Construction Documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in architecture, interiors and/or construction profession.
  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Architecture or Interior Design School.
  • Strong experience and demonstrated proficiency in all design phases including a minimum of five completed projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
  • Experience organizing & assembling construction documents; proven technical skills in detailing.
  • Superb communication skills with consultants, clients, and contractors; experience coordinating work of consulting engineers.
  • Technically skilled; strong experience using Revit, 3-D modeling software; BIM proficiency.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, collaborative and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to run internal meetings, consultant meetings, and to prepare and coordinate required project presentations.
  • Actively involved in Business Development opportunities.
  • Seen as an emerging leader in the company.
