Role OverviewAs a Project Buyer, you will work to fulfill customer deliverables for all purchasing requirements of the project during acquisition and development phases, ensuring cost targets, supplier PPAP timing, USMCA content, and updates project team on all critical items.
What You Will Do
Prepare RFQ, evaluate and assess supplier’s quotations to ensure commercial, technical and quality objectives are achieved, lead sourcing decisions, and communicate supplier risks to project team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Excel, 2+ years of experience within negotiation and project management, and a detailed knowledge of markets of the electronic commodity.
Requirements
- Bilingual (english/japanese) is an advantage
- Hands on experience using Excel is a must
- 2+ years of experience within negotiation and project management is a must
- Detailed knowledge of markets of the electronic commodity is preferred
- Understanding and use of cost drivers and market dynamics in the electronic commodity is a must
- Can communicate effectively on technical topics and can understand technical drawings is a must
- Tier 1 Automotive industry experience preferable but not required
