Role OverviewHDR is looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our team. This is a project-facing delivery role focused on helping project and program teams plan, monitor, and control scope, schedule, cost, risk, change, document management, and performance reporting.
What You Will Do
The role will provide project-facing technical leadership, develop and implement project controls plans, and lead proposal, project startup, and transition activities.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of demonstrated project controls experience on large infrastructure, industrial, energy, or utility projects, and experience with schedule validation, forensic scheduling, and risk analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects
- Ability to manage proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation, client relationship and win strategy for medium to large EPC Projects
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
