Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Controls Specialist- Level 3 to join our team at K&A Power Group in Hartford, Connecticut. What You Will Do

Maintain and manage Project Schedules from initiation through closeout that primarily support the Transmission Organization: Capital Projects, Maintenance Projects and Distribution Projects Managed by Transmission. Develop, maintain, analyze, and manage project activities and resources to the level necessary to support project and department requirements and needs.

Why It Might Be a Fit

A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive-related electric utility or other related industry experience, with transmission facilities construction management experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive-related electric utility or other related industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent 15 years of relevant experience is recommended
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience with utility capital investment business models is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated financial management experience, including cash flow forecasting and management for capital projects, purchase order financial tracking and oversight, financial risk assessment and mitigation, capital portfolio financial planning, monitoring, and performance management, identification, evaluation, and communication of financial risks and opportunities
