Role Overview

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for serving as the project team's subject-matter expert in planning & scheduling, progress measurement, cost management, change management, reporting, and analysis. The Project Controls Specialist is a business partner to the project team(s) and understands company processes and key business drivers to problem-solve using technical experience, judgment, and industry best practices.

What You Will Do

Specific responsibilities include: development and implementation of the project controls execution plan, implementation of the Project Management and Controls System and project initiation process, implementation of the project OBS, WBS, and CBS in the required financial and progress systems, and other tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in project controls or project management in the commercial construction market, a 4-year degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance, or related fields, and experience using Primavera.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance, or related fields
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in project controls or project management in the commercial construction market
  • Experience using Primavera
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving can-do attitude and high level of coordination skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with others in a multifunctional team
  • Accepts change and works well under pressure
  • Knowledge of common business tools such as Microsoft Office applications
  • Awareness of contract and construction terminology

Benefits

  • Pay Range: USD $88,380.00 - USD $117,970.00 /Yr.
  • 15% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
