Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Division of Public Buildings is seeking a Project Director for the Capital Program Delivery program in the Police Unit. The selected candidate will be accountable for the delivery of capital assets, reporting directly to the Unit’s Deputy Director and Program Director, and will manage all project phases including scoping, initiation, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.

Requirements

  • Supervising employees performing project management work
  • Planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects
  • Managing project schedules, preparing thorough, accurate, and timely project correspondence and reports, and maintaining complete project accounting records
  • Participating and championing the development of new Agency initiatives, process improvements, and mentorship opportunities
