Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful execution of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This position works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
What You Will Do
Support Project Managers in coordinating commercial electrical construction projects from startup through closeout, prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, transmittals, and project documentation.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, or electrical construction
- Experience working for an electrical contractor, specialty contractor, or commercial subcontractor is preferred
- Basic understanding of commercial electrical systems, construction methods, and field operations
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and construction documentation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Comfortable working with office personnel, field teams, clients, and vendors
