Job Description
Project Engineer II position at Sunbelt Controls, responsible for managing on and off site project execution, developing personal intellectual and technical product knowledge, and providing value engineering and cost reduction solutions.

Requirements

  • Develops personal intellectual and technical product knowledge specific to the needs of the business and that of specific projects.
  • Produces controls systems design drawings, sequence of operations and submittals for lower level control systems.
  • Manages the project’s material procurement process and coordinates the shipments of material to the site and/or other trades for assigned projects.
  • Manages and provides documentation for the project file including correspondence, requests for information, change orders, logs and project schedules.
  • Communicates effectively with all project team members, trade contractors and General Contractors concerning problems, obstacles, issues and information needs from the field and will submit daily and/or weekly summary of work reports to the project team leadership.
