Job Description
Project Engineer position at Orbia in St. Gabriel, LA, supporting execution of assigned project(s) and ensuring engineering and procurement services contractors perform detailed engineering and procurement services in accordance with contractual requirements and project specifications. The role may require frequent travel.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years' capital project experience working at a chemical manufacturing facility and/or chemical or petrochemical EPC engineering firms.
  • Experience with stage gated project process including all phases of FEL, detailed design, and project execution.
  • Project engineering experience on an individual project of $10Mio+ from start to finish is desired.
  • Familiarity with plant equipment and piping engineering codes and standards including ASME, TEMA, and API.
