Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will work on high-profile land development projects in southeast Michigan, enhancing the quality of life in the area. You will work independently and as part of a team to assist various clients, including architects, developers, and real estate professionals. Your tasks will include site plan layout, geometric design, grading, pavement design, and stormwater management.

What You Will Do

Your typical responsibilities will include site plan layout, geometric design, grading, pavement design, soil erosion and sediment control, utility design, stormwater management, traffic control plans, record drawings and specifications, permit applications, cost estimates, attending meetings, conducting field visits, and construction administration tasks.

Requirements

  • Civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience
  • Experience in AutoCAD software
  • At least 1-3 years of Civil Engineering experience
  • Experience in Civil3D
  • Experience with road, storm, sanitary and water design
  • Experience in Bluebeam
  • Exposure to Municipal and/or Private Development projects
