Role Overview

Join our team as a Project Engineer and play a key role in bringing mechanical construction projects from planning to successful completion. Working alongside our Installations Manager, Estimator, Foremen, and project teams, you’ll help coordinate schedules, materials, documentation, budgets, and day-to-day project needs to keep jobs moving forward.

What You Will Do

Act as liaison between Estimator, Department Manager, and Installations Foreman. Assist Estimator in reviewing plans and specifications for accurate bidding. Process job number requests, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Manage project documentation, materials, status monitoring, billing, and invoicing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education in engineering, construction management, or project management preferred but not required.
  • Experience in project management, construction management, or field engineering.
  • Ability to read and scale architectural and mechanical plans.
  • General knowledge HVAC installation (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and Bluebeam.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse personality types.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled in customer relations, with the ability to resolve disputes and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of workforce productivity and efficiency in construction and technical environments.
