Role OverviewThe Project Engineer will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations, engineering standards, codes, and specifications. This role is part of the MasTec Civil team, which specializes in the construction of complex transportation projects. The Project Engineer will work in Columbia, SC, and will be responsible for ensuring construction crews comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
What You Will Do
The Project Engineer will review project contracts, plans, and specifications, prepare project schedules and monthly updates, and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to resolve project challenges. They will also prepare and submit prime and subcontractor change orders, manage document control, and prepare technical submittal lists.

Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management
- 4 or more years' experience in the civil construction field (office/field role)
- Experience on CSXT ROW projects is a plus!
