Role Overview

The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating engineering execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety for assigned projects. The role bridges the technical and execution gap between the Project Manager and the engineering disciplines and often functions as an Assistant Project Manager with a strong engineering foundation.

What You Will Do

The Project Engineer provides day to day technical leadership, supports execution decision making, and ensures engineering deliverables are fit for purpose for construction, commissioning, and operations.

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Strong understanding of engineering and knowledge systems, processes, tools, and workflows
  • Demonstrated experience in Chemicals, Fuels, refining, petrochemical, or related industrial facilities
  • Proven ability to execute brownfield and operating facility projects
  • Working knowledge of EPC project delivery, including engineering, procurement, and construction interfaces
  • Experience participating in HAZOP, constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews
  • Strong understanding of process safety, Safety by Design, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to act as the technical interface with customers and internal stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
