Role OverviewThe Project Engineer Senior - Senior Lead will join the Power Development engineering team, driving innovation and technological advancement to enhance the reliability, affordability, and sustainability of new power generation projects. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain engineering design standards for new generation plants (gas). The Project Engineer ensures engineering products are complete, accurate, and constructible for all elements of a project’s scope.
What You Will Do
The Project Engineer will promote safe behavior, maintain and develop the Company’s engineering design basis documents, support and participate in the technical evaluation of project proposals, and participate in state regulatory commission approval activities. The role will also identify engineered safety controls, support/lead cross-functional teams, ensure engineering documentation is adequately captured, and support/lead writing Record of Decision documents.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 6 - 8 years of applicable and progressive professional experience in engineering design, construction, or operation of power systems
- Project Engineer, Sr: Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership behaviors
- Expert knowledge of engineering fundamentals within at least one discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, chemical, construction)
- Advanced knowledge of engineering science and technology as applied to power generation
