Role OverviewThe Project Engineering Co-op will be focused on leading engineering projects for Permanent Magnetic Alternators (PMA), harnessing, and ignition system products for large commercial, military, and business aviation engines programs. The team is highly collaborative and interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines and business-related functions.
What You Will Do
Support project tasks, host cross-functional meetings, drive project execution, engage with a cross-functional team on Engineering Change (EC) execution, and work alongside experienced engineers to support major design milestones.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The role requires a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and cross-functional teams is preferred.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook)
- Experience with Microsoft Project and using Project Management techniques
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and presenting information to internal and external stakeholders
- A minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
