Role OverviewThe Project Engineering/IDIQ Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and the Construction Engineer to ensure efficient and quality completion of all new projects. This includes project development, field oversight, support facility management, earned value reporting, cost control, subcontractor management, and client interface.
What You Will Do
Provide engineering support and coordination for performance of NWD scopes, develop statement of work and/or plans to define the requisite work effort for contractor or internal personnel to complete the define task(s), and manage a wide range of projects and engineering evaluations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 15 or more years of relevant project management experience, a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred concentration in Engineering, and Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Requirements
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred concentration in Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- PMP Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Fifteen (15) or more years of relevant project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets of $200k-$2M or more
- Experience working with union and craft labor is a plus
- Strong background in operations to include safety basis development and implementation, work control, conduct of operations, ES&H, and Quality
