Role Overview

MWH is a leading water and wastewater treatment-focused general contractor in the US with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. The Project Executive will provide leadership, strategy, and direction in support of existing and future project operations.

What You Will Do

The Project Executive will establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards for project operations, monitor financial aspects of contracts, and work with the District Director and Project Managers to protect the company's interest and maintain good relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related degree
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant management experience or equivalent skills and experience
  • Demonstrated successful performance on complex and/or large projects, typically $100M+
  • Minimum 6 years of management experience with profit and loss responsibility on an assigned project(s)
  • Background in water/wastewater treatment plants
  • Results-oriented professional with proven ability to develop effective strategies, set target goals, and execute plans to meet financial and organization objectives
  • Understanding of how to mitigate commercial risk to enhance opportunities for successful business and project performance
  • Must have integrity and strong sense of ethical standards with a reputation of conducting business fairly and honestly
  • Strong executive presence and personnel management skills with the ability to set direction, align, and motivate others to achieve excellence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral; will be required to conduct presentations
  • Effective computer skills including project management, spreadsheets, Prolog, and presentation software
  • A strong record of safety and a commitment to the value of safety measures
