Role Overview

The Project Lead II - Armament will lead small projects of low to medium complexity, supporting Company and customer requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for project management, resource organization, and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, and setting and measurement of program goals.

What You Will Do

The incumbent will perform project tasks, including making priority determinations, developing and reviewing project documentation, maintaining established project portfolios, establishing and executing project budgets, managing project risk, monitoring and controlling project progress, and providing project status through project/program reviews.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a background as a qualified technician within aircraft weapons or avionics systems career fields or possess equivalent experience. The incumbent will be heavily relied upon for comprehensive munitions management to support ground and flight test operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree
  • 8 years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments
  • Knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Government security clearance
  • Valid, state-issued driver's license
  • U.S. citizenship
