Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee and manage project budgets, schedule, and administration of commercial projects. They will report to a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations, or Vice President of Operations. The normal working hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm or 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager will manage relationships with clients, architects, design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. They will develop project requirements, utilize ProCore as the primary project management tool, and perform constructability reviews on project plans and specifications.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 7 years of relevant experience in commercial construction, preferably with a background in higher education. They will be familiar with the preconstruction process of a Construction Manager at Risk contract and have strong problem-solving, communication, and computer application skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field
  • 7 years of relevant experience in commercial construction; 10+ years preferred
  • Familiarity with the preconstruction process of a Construction Manager at Risk contract
  • Preferred previous project experience in a higher ed school system within the State of Texas
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Confined Space, CPR/AED/First Aid, Defensive Driving certifications preferred
