Project Manager - Route Based

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage our route-based fiber construction/maintenance program. The successful candidate will own the schedule, budget, and client relationship, and will be the point of escalation for issues in the field.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the route-based construction/maintenance program, serving as the primary point of accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and scope. They will also partner closely with the route-based Construction Coordinator team to keep coverage, priorities, and workload balanced across the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field
• Prior experience managing project schedules, budgets, and field-based teams in fiber/telecom outside plant construction, utility construction, or a related field-services industry
• Experience working alongside or coordinating route-based, outside-plant, or field-locate personnel
• Solid understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals, outside plant construction practices, and underground utility/dig-law basics
• Proven ability to manage budgets and staffing plans and to report accurately on project financials and status
• Strong client-facing communication skills, written and verbal
• Sharp organizational skills and the ability to prioritize across a multi-route program with competing demands
• Strong technology skills (e.g., Microsoft Office (Excel and Project in particular)) for scheduling, reporting, and budgeting
