Job Description
The Transmission Project Manager is responsible for overseeing Transmission construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role supports the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of assigned projects while ensuring compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
Requirements
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead the development of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
Collaborate with project coordinators to manage material and subcontractor procurement, ensure prompt handling of engineering submittals, and address construction requirements efficiently.
Monitor project progress and performance through regular updates and field visits.
Oversee progress updates, including change tracking and approval of change order requests, to ensure accurate and timely billing of completed work in accordance with the customer’s billing requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables align with design and operational requirements.
Manage and track project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
Identify and report project risks, issues, and variances; assist in developing mitigation strategies, corrective actions, and recovery plans.
Facilitate progress meetings and provide clear communication across all project stakeholders.
Assist in project closeout activities, including timely demobilization, documentation, and lessons learned.
