Job Description
Role Overview

As a Project Manager at Black & Veatch, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of water-related infrastructure projects in the multi-million-dollar range. You will oversee all aspects of small Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality, and provide for the successful staffing of the project. You will also manage and lead small teams of multi-disciplined professionals and coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team.

What You Will Do

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. You will also oversee the development of project performance goals, accountability for implementation, and active involvement with internal project team and owner project representatives on project activities.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • 10+ years program/project management experience, technical experience and background
  • Technical experience in water and wastewater treatment as well as linear infrastructure planning and design
  • Business development and program/project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
