Role OverviewThe Project Manager, Accounting will serve as a key link between Accounting, Finance, Operations, Information Technology, and other areas of the organization. This position is designed for someone who understands the accounting world but also has the ability to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, improve processes, support system implementations, and drive projects from concept through completion.
What You Will Do
Lead Accounting and Finance-related projects from planning through completion, develop project plans, timelines, milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables, coordinate activities between Accounting, Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments, track project progress and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Approximately 3-5 years of progressive Accounting, Finance, financial systems, or related professional experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, fixed assets, and month-end close processes
- Experience working with ERP or financial systems
- Experience with system implementations, integrations, upgrades, or data migrations is strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong project-management, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with accounting and non-accounting stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality involving financial and Company information
