Project Manager, Aviation-Engineering

The Project Manager, Level II provides outstanding project management to our clients by planning and executing SSIT project management methodologies. Key to the role are excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills.

What You Will Do

Project Manager, Level II is responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for assigned projects. Manage risks and notify the appropriate client and leadership teams regarding deviations from approved models/core solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in business or computer sciences or a related field
• PMP certification
• Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience delivering IT solutions
• Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio)
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple and coherent manner both verbally and written
• Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results
• Strong ability to listen to discussion and capture requirements in meaningful, precise manner that can be understood by both technical and non-technical participants
• Ability to present concepts and lead discussions on design issues with authority and poise, engaging effectively with internal business stakeholders
• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail both in written and action tasks
• Strong ability to work independently and adhere to timelines
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
• Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
• Experience managing client relationships and negotiating positive outcomes
