Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for executing and overseeing all commercial and technical aspects of projects to ensure Monroe Environmental fulfills its contractual requirements and meets or exceeds customer expectations.

What You Will Do

Assume responsibility for executing all technical and commercial aspects of assigned projects, communicate with customers, facilitate communication between internal and external resources, and manage project budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, 5+ years of project management experience, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years managing projects or engineering in engineered product, construction, fabrication, or related field
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Professional communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, prints, and specs
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of construction processes and techniques
  • Engineering knowledge of air handling systems and/or water treatment technologies
  • Experience visiting industrial facilities
  • PMP or related project management certification (a plus)
  • Construction management experience (a plus)
