Role Overview

As a Project Manager II - OPM, you will help manage and oversee cities, towns, and higher education capital projects from planning through closeout. You'll serve as a trusted client partner, supporting project delivery, coordinating resources, managing schedules and budgets while helping clients navigate the technical, financial, and logistical needs that drive successful outcomes.

Manage cities, towns, and higher education capital projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring project goals, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are achieved. Serve as a trusted client partner and consultant, proactively addressing technical, financial, and logistical project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensure
  • Minimum of 7 years of construction industry experience required, including 4 years of project management experience
  • Expert knowledge of project engineering and/or construction principles and project scheduling
  • Demonstrated success building and managing client relationships and interpreting contract requirements
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documentation
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects while driving initiatives to successful completion
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required; MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Deltek Vision experience preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed required
  • Experience with MSBA, MBTA or public safety is preferred
  • Consulting industry experience highly preferred
  • Professional licensure preferred

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
  • Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
