Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of custom power distribution projects from kickoff through final shipment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between internal departments, customers, and key stakeholders — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with ESS Metron's quality standards.

What You Will Do

Champion a 'Safety First' culture by modeling safe practices and promoting safety awareness across all project teams. Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of customer orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing, power distribution, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of basic power distribution systems and electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — written, verbal, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing environments.
