Role Overview

The Project Manager III will lead the execution of diverse generation and energy-focused projects, working alongside industry experts to deliver innovative solutions across power and thermal systems, district energy networks, renewable technologies, and utility infrastructure programs.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager III will lead proposal development, serve as the primary client partner, develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), manage project schedules, oversee project financials, direct contract administration, and lead regular project meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field, with a minimum of 9 years of industry experience, including 6 years of project management experience, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 9 years of industry experience

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience with substation design, district energy, or power generation projects
  • Prior design engineering experience
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and interpret client contract requirements
  • Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
  • Experience managing project accounting processes
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to solve problems independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style for various audiences
  • Ability to travel as needed
