Role OverviewThe Project Manager reports to both the customer and to GBSI Sr. Program Director, using a variety of procurement purchase methods and maintaining 100% validity control of all transactions. The Project Manager leads the acquisition and procurement of credentialing-related products and services in support of the U.S. Coast Guard Credentialing Opportunities Online (COOL) Program.
What You Will Do
Leads the acquisition and procurement of credentialing-related products and services, manages the purchase and approval process for certification and licensure examinations, and ensures Coast Guard personnel successfully obtain approved academic credentials.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience leading tasks, mentoring and guiding staff, and working with the Academic Institution Portal (AIP) and AFAEMS or comparable system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and good communication skills are also required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading tasks, mentoring and guiding staff
- DoD issued favorable NACLC investigation
- Experience working with the Academic Institution Portal (AIP) and AFAEMS or comparable system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Good communication skills
