Role Overview

The Project Manager position involves design and detailing of structural systems for large, complex structures in many market sectors, primarily Type I construction. The Project Manager will lead a team of structural engineers and BIM designers in a dynamic office environment and steer projects towards successful outcomes working closely with architects, contractors, and other consultants.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of building design experience
  • SE license is required
  • Experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on design of larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors
  • Proven track record with clients in delivering successful projects
  • Ability to act as a strong and decisive leader
  • Ability to connect with clients to build & maintain relationships
  • Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus
  • Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 is a plus
  • Master’s degree from a US university in structural engineering is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and people skills, and team players required
