Job Description
As a Yancey Power Systems Project Manager, you will support the sales of YPS products by managing multiple projects to completion. You will organize, schedule, coordinate, purchase, communicate, and lead efforts of others. You will work as part of the sales team to act in a manner that ensures the continued growth of the Power Systems business in line with the Company’s strategy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-years experience as a project manager or engineer in the electric power industry or a related technical field
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience of diesel & gaseous engines, generator sets, paralleling switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), or related projects
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive approach to taking care of issues before they become problems
  • Collaborative with Yancey Sales Reps to exceed customer’s project expectations
  • Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
