PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists in the development, administration, and measurement of programs, procedures, goals, and objectives.
o Develops methods to improve workflow within and outside the department.
o Coordinates various business systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
o Collects, analyzes, and evaluates data and prepares meaningful reports and presentations.
o Performs research and gathers information and/or data related to assigned projects.
o Updates logs, records, and databases with data gathered for analysis according to record keeping practices.
o Creates detailed and concise presentations and reports based on analysis and provides reports to management.
o Provides administrative support to senior department personnel.
o Coordinates various projects, special assignments, and support activities as assigned.
• Acts as a liaison with various departments to aid in project management and completion. Collaborates with other departments to secure all reports, video and other information necessary to evaluate and adjust claims and tort lawsuits.
• Maintains records for the Torts and Claims groups within the Law Department. Creates and distributes various reports within department and to external departments and offices.
• Assists in maintaining data within various computer systems. Ensures data accuracy and integrity while efficiently entering information into appropriate risk management and third party administrator systems. Responsible for preparing and distributing various reports.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

CHALLENGES
• Locating and retrieving, in a timely manner, all relevant internal documents from various departments and locations outside the law department, including but not limited to video, records, and reports.
• Accurately organizing and maintaining case files for Claims Reps and attorneys with heavy caseloads.
• Organizing and analyzing data from numerous and diverse sources and clearly reporting on findings and conclusions.
• Prioritizing multiple tasks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field, plus one (1) year of applicable experience in a law, a claims related field, data analytics role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Exposed to weather conditions when attending court proceedings or traveling to various locations.
• Requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time and constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Service Area Requirement: Exempt (Non-Union) employees must live within the boundaries of the CTA Statutory Service Area either at the time of employment or within 6 months of beginning employment at CTA.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• General office environment.
• Required to travel between CTA headquarters and other downtown and CTA field locations on a regular basis.
• Travel to other locations also is required, including the state and federal courts in Chicago.
