Role OverviewWe are seeking a Propane Service Technician for a local route, home every night, Class B CDL position. Primary responsibilities include customer service, sales, servicing, inspecting, and installing propane tanks, cylinders and appliances at residential and commercial sites.
What You Will Do
The Service Technician will pump out tanks, remove and relocate tanks, perform outside equipment inspections, route, secure and install gas lines and piping and set and install tanks and meters.

The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, have a strong mechanical aptitude and good driving skills, and be able to work in extreme weather environments and on a compensated on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
- Clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card
- Accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate
- Ability to detail all service work performed in company work orders
- Compliance with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
- DOT Hazmat Training and Maintenance every three years
- Knowledge of NPFA 54 related to gas piping and appliance installation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pull delivery hose
