Role Overview

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, our Accountants are responsible for the monthly property financial statement close process for approximately 20 self-storage properties, maintaining internal controls, treasury, and internal reporting. This is a hybrid position once fully trained: Tues thru Thurs in office; Mon & Fri work from home.

What You Will Do

Produce journal entries, banking and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements. Analyze budget and actual results to report variances. Support integration of new acquisitions as needed. Compile a monthly reporting package for each property.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable work experience
  • Experience with GAAP financial statements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and oral & written communication skills
